Welcome to the Nest, Mrs. Hilton!

Due to previous health issues, Mrs. Hilton will be joining the Maiden family in January 2026. To begin the school year, we will have an interim Assistant Principal.  This will be announced before the start of the school year.

Mrs.Hilton has a few words to share to introduce herself to our school and community--

My name is Candall Hilton and I will be the new Assistant Principal at Maiden Elementary this upcoming school year. I am excited to be a Maiden Eagle (for the second time) and to work alongside Ms. Plemmons. I look forward to meeting the staff, students, parents, and giving back to the community in which I live and love. I bring 18 years of experience with me. I taught Physical Education for 16 years at North Lincoln Middle School (grades 6-8) and served two years as Assistant Principal at River Bend Middle School. I am married to my husband Matthew and together we have two children. I was raised in Maiden and a proud former Eagle, Wildcat, and Blue Devil. I am thrilled to be joining the Maiden Elementary School team and look forward to a wonderful school year. It is with so much excitement that I get to say for the first time…Every Day Is An Excellent Day To Be A Maiden Eagle!!!
