Maiden Elementary

Hi, I’m Heather Lail, a School Nurse with Catawba County Public Health. I am excited to serve your students at Maiden Elementary School.

 
I’m in school several days a week because children learn best when they are healthy. Routine health care promotes physical, social and emotional growth of children through the early detection, treatment and referral of health problems, illness prevention and education about common student health concerns. I also work to eliminate chronic health conditions as a barrier to achieving school success. Often, I serve as a connector between school staff, parents, students and health care providers.
