Meet Heather Lail, School Nurse

Welcome to Maiden Elementary! I am Heather Lail, school health nurse for Maiden Elementary and Tuttle Elementary. 

I graduated from UNC-Charlotte in 2009 with a Bachelor's in Nursing and currently hold a certification as a School Nurse. I have been with Catawba County Schools since 2017. My past experience includes long term care, home health and pediatric doctor's office. Being a School Nurse involves two of my favorite things, nursing and children. I enjoy helping children feel better with short term ailments and helping them manage chronic conditions. It is my pleasure to assist students and staff in making healthy choices to promote school success.
